Many families come to us after a difficult experience — hearing aids purchased somewhere that closed, a provider too far away to get back to, devices that never worked right and nobody who could explain why. Others have a parent who gave up on hearing aids entirely after feeling like the help wasn't there when they needed it.
Whatever the situation, In-Home Hearing Care is built to handle it. We service hearing aids from every manufacturer — including aids purchased elsewhere. We have the equipment and the training to assess, clean, adjust, and troubleshoot devices that haven't been touched in years. We will tell you honestly what we can do, what we can't, and what your options are.
You don't need to have purchased anything from us to get help. You just need to call.
Before anything else, we show you the inside of your ear in real time using a professional digital otoscope with a high-resolution camera. You see exactly what we see — ear canal health, wax buildup, and eardrum condition — on screen. Most people have never seen this before. It answers a lot of questions before we even begin.
A complete diagnostic evaluation in the home — including air conduction and bone conduction testing, monaural and binaural word recognition testing, and a full written hearing report. Results can be shared with family members or forwarded to a physician. If you've had a hearing test before and felt confused by the results, we walk you through everything clearly so you leave understanding exactly where things stand.
Whether the right solution is a prescription device or an over-the-counter aid, In-Home Hearing Care provides professional fitting, real-ear verification, and programming matched to the individual's hearing profile and home listening environment. We explain the difference between options clearly and help you choose based on need — not price point.
Hearing aids only work well when they are properly fitted and precisely programmed for the individual. If your hearing aids have never sounded right, or used to sound fine and no longer do, that is something we can assess and often correct — regardless of where they were purchased. We perform full fittings and fine-tune programming to match the way a person actually lives and listens at home.
Hearing aids today can connect to phones, televisions, streaming devices, and remote microphones — but setup can be confusing. We handle the full connection and pairing process at the appointment. We also supply batteries, chargers, domes, wax guards, receivers, cleaning tools, carrying cases, and other accessories. If you've had accessories sitting unused because setup was never completed, bring them to the appointment.
Hearing aid repairs can feel like a dead end, especially when the original provider is gone or too far away. In-Home Hearing Care coordinates repair for hearing aids from every manufacturer — in warranty or out of warranty — and handles the process so you don't have to figure it out alone. We assess the device, tell you what we know about repair options and likely costs, and manage the coordination from there. If a repair isn't possible, we'll tell you that honestly too.
For families who want ongoing professional hearing care without the uncertainty of per-visit costs. The subscription covers monthly in-home visits, digital ear inspections, professional cleaning for any hearing aid (any brand, any age), programming adjustments, accessory setup, annual hearing evaluation, priority scheduling, and warranty repair costs — all included in the monthly rate. Available for any hearing aid, including aids not purchased from us. A 1-year initial commitment and device eligibility assessment are required.*
Most hearing care providers only service the hearing aids they sold you. In-Home Hearing Care services any hearing aid — any brand, any model, any age — and covers warranty repair costs as part of the plan. One flat monthly rate. No surprise bills. No per-visit charges. Ever.
A single hearing aid repair typically runs $200–$600. The Full Service Subscription covers those repair costs — included in the monthly rate — for hearing aids you already own, not just ones purchased from us.

In-Home Hearing Care is led by a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist (BC-HIS) — one of fewer than 50 hearing professionals in Minnesota to hold this credential. The BC-HIS designation is issued by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences and represents the highest standard of professional certification in the field.
In-Home Hearing Care was built around a simple belief: that professional hearing care should come to the patient, not the other way around. For seniors and individuals with mobility challenges, a clinic visit can mean real stress — arranging transportation, navigating unfamiliar buildings, waiting in uncomfortable settings. In-Home Hearing Care removes those barriers entirely, bringing board certified expertise directly to the home.
When you schedule with In-Home Hearing Care, you know exactly what is coming to your door: a board certified specialist, state licensed and registered as a national healthcare provider, arriving with professional audiological equipment. Every appointment is calm, unhurried, and focused on helping families understand what is happening and what the options are — with clear, transparent guidance from start to finish.
